Tickets are on sale now for the Hershey Symphony Orchestra’s holiday concert, “Sounds of the Season,” on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The symphony will bring the holiday spirit to the Hershey Theatre and perform beloved classics and some exciting new arrangements under the direction of Maestro Gregory Woodbridge. Vocalist Susan Cort will join the symphony on stage to perform two holiday favorites.
This concert is a treasured holiday tradition for many families, and a popular way to introduce children to symphonic music. Sounds of the Season will run approximately two hours including the intermission.
This holiday season, the Hershey Symphony is proud to partner with Joy to the Burg, a Central Pennsylvania music project that helps provide winter shelters, street outreach, and support for people experiencing homelessness in the Harrisburg area. The Hershey Symphony invites audience members to bring donations of personal care items to the concert, which will be collected by volunteers outside the Hershey Theatre before each performance; a list of needed items can be found below.
Tickets start at $29 each and are available here. Advance tickets are highly recommended, as these performances often sell out.
Requested items to support Joy to the Burg’s mission include:
- personal care and hygiene items
- new men’s or women’s undergarments
You can also support the organization by purchasing this year’s Joy to the Burg CD, featuring the Hershey Symphony performing “Away in a Manger.” You can pick up the CDs at the concert or visit joytotheburg.com to learn more.
