Hershey Symphony Unveils New Season and Return to Hershey Theatre

The Hershey Symphony Orchestra proudly announces its 57th season, with a range of musical selections from classical masterworks to beloved musical theater hits. The symphony will split its season between the Hershey Free Church and the newly-renovated Hershey Theatre, its longstanding main venue.

“The Hershey Symphony is poised to present a wonderful season of concerts that includes masterpieces from the standard repertoire alongside lesser-known but equally stunning symphonic works,” Maestro Greg Woodbridge said.  “We are especially excited about presenting a complete concert version of Carousel in March and welcoming Dara Morales of the Philadelphia Orchestra to perform the Bruch with us in May. Our listeners will know much of the music we perform, and also have their horizons broadened by our programming that showcases the orchestra.”

The symphony kicks off the season at the Hershey Free Church on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 7:30 p.m., with “Let’s Be Franck.” The audience is invited to journey to France and Belgium with an evening of romantic and powerful music, featuring César Franck’s stirring Symphony in D Minor. The concert also highlights the incredible talent of Hershey Symphony Young Artist Competition winner Artemis Drake, performing Mozart’s charming Oboe Concerto in C Major.

The symphony will offer three performances of its annual “Holiday Spectacular” at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, December 12, and at 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Hershey Free Church. This concert has become a holiday tradition for many area families, so audience members should purchase tickets early as these performances often sell out.

The symphony’s final concert at the Hershey Free Church will be “Don’t Burn the Sauce” on Saturday, February 21, at 7:30 p.m. The audience is invited to savor the rich, passionate sounds of Italy with a program full of musical delights, including Respighi’s breathtaking Pines of Rome.

In March, the symphony will move its performances back to the newly-renovated Hershey Theatre. On Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., the symphony will collaborate with Susquehanna Stage to perform Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Carousel, In Concert. “ This is a special celebration of the 80th  anniversary of Carousel, the beloved musical by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II. Originally adapted from Ferenc Molnár’s play Liliom, this heartwarming story moves from Budapest to the coast of Maine, and will be brought to life with a talented cast of vocalists from around the region.

The season finale, held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at the Hershey Theatre, will be “Czech, Please!” This concert will feature the music of Bohemia, showcasing the rich traditions of Czech composers. Joining the symphony is Dara Morales of The Philadelphia Orchestra, performing the breathtaking Bruch Violin Concerto. This concert will also showcase the talents of the symphony’s youth orchestra, Festival Strings.
