DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss this special celebration of the 80th anniversary of Carousel\, the beloved musical by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II. Originally adapted from Ferenc Molnár’s play Liliom\, this heartwarming story moves from Budapest to the coast of Maine\, brought to life with a talented cast of vocalists from around the region. Experience the sweeping melodies and unforgettable songs that have made Carousel a treasured classic. SUMMARY:A Salute to America at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center
DESCRIPTION:The Hershey Symphony Orchestra invites the community to celebrate Independence Day with the 23rd annual free concert on the lawn of Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. “A Salute to America” begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday\, June 26\, 2026. There is no rain date for the concert. \nParking is free and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Guests should note that while pets are allowed\, they must be on a leash. Fireworks are not permitted at the event. \nComplimentary water will be provided and drinks and food will be available for purchase from food trucks at the event. Guests may also bring their own food and drinks. \nA freewill offering will be taken to benefit the orchestra. \n
