DESCRIPTION:Join us as we bring the holiday spirit to the stage of the Hershey Theatre with our annual Holiday Spectacular on Saturday\, December 2\, 2023\, at 2 and 8 p.m. A local tradition\, this holiday-themed concert will feature both beloved favorites and a few exciting new arrangements\, all under the direction of Maestro Gregory Woodbridge. The symphony’s offerings will include favorite classics including music from “The Nutcracker” and “Hansel and Gretel\,” among many other selections. The Lower Dauphin High School choir will join the orchestra on stage to perform “Feast of Carols” by Randol Alan Bass.\n\n\n\n\n\nConcertgoers are invited to bring new\, unwrapped toys or fresh produce including apples and oranges to donate to Gemma’s Angels\, a local organization that helps families in need.\n\nTickets are available here.

As parking lots fill\, they will be closed\, and you will be directed to the next available lot. \nPlease arrive early and be patient during the arrival (and exiting) process. For those who arrive after nearby lots are full\, you will be able to park in a lot and take a shuttlebus to Founders Hall. \nOnce you have parked\, you can follow the “Event Entrance” signs along the sidewalks and paths to the nearest entry door into the venue. \nAfter the event is concluded\, we will have signs in place outside the venue exits to direct you back toward your appropriate parking location and then off campus. \nWhen do the doors open? \nFounders Hall will be open starting at 6:30 p.m. and doors to the theatre will open at 7 p.m. \nIs there an elevator? \nThere is a small lift to help guests who need assistance getting to the upper levels of the auditorium. \nIs there a bag policy? \nThere is no bag policy but please note that no food or drinks are allowed in the auditorium. \nMay I purchase beverages and snacks during intermission? \nThere will not be drinks or snacks sold since they are not allowed in the auditorium. SUMMARY:A Salute to America at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center
DESCRIPTION:The Hershey Symphony Orchestra invites the community to celebrate Independence Day with the 23rd annual free concert on the lawn of Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. “A Salute to America” begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday\, June 26\, 2026. There is no rain date for the concert. \nParking is free and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Guests should note that while pets are allowed\, they must be on a leash. Fireworks are not permitted at the event. \nComplimentary water will be provided and drinks and food will be available for purchase from food trucks at the event. Guests may also bring their own food and drinks. \nA freewill offering will be taken to benefit the orchestra. \n
