DESCRIPTION:Michael Cavanaugh\, who played the Piano Man himself in the hit Broadway show Movin’ Out\, and his band bring the music of Billy Joel to life on the Founders Hall stage. Rock out to all your favorites including “Uptown Girl\,” “River of Dreams\,” “Movin’ Out\,” “My Life\,” “Scenes from an Italian Restaurant\,” and many more. \nTickets are available here. \nView our promo video here. \n\nFrequently Asked Questions \nWhere do I park? \nPlease look for the square white traffic “Event Parking” signs as you arrive on campus.  Milton Hershey School will have signs (and staff) on hand to help you find your way to the closest available parking lot. As parking lots fill\, they will be closed\, and you will be directed to the next available lot. \nPlease arrive early and be patient during the arrival (and exiting) process. For those who arrive after nearby lots are full\, you will be able to park in a lot and take a shuttlebus to Founders Hall. \nOnce you have parked\, you can follow the “Event Entrance” signs along the sidewalks and paths to the nearest entry door into the venue. \nAfter the event is concluded\, we will have signs in place outside the venue exits to direct you back toward your appropriate parking location and then off campus. \nWhen do the doors open? \nFounders Hall will be open starting at 6:30 p.m. and doors to the theatre will open at 7 p.m. \nIs there an elevator? \nThere is a small lift to help guests who need assistance getting to the upper levels of the auditorium. \nIs there a bag policy? \nThere is no bag policy but please note that no food or drinks are allowed in the auditorium. \nMay I purchase beverages and snacks during intermission? \nThere will not be drinks or snacks sold since they are not allowed in the auditorium. There are several water fountains available to use. \nCan I meet Michael Cavanaugh after the concert? \nYes! Michael will do a meet and greet and sell merchandise in the Rotunda after the concert. \nHow can I support the Hershey Symphony Orchestra? \nYou can purchase raffle tickets at our concert! For just $5 per ticket\, you’ll have a chance to win a special prize packet including Billy                 Joel’s new limited edition 7” single\, “Turn the Lights Back On”; a CD of the Broadway musical\, Movin’ Out\, starring Michael\nCavanaugh; and four tickets to the remaining concerts of our 2023-24 season. You can buy raffle tickets with a credit card or cash at our           ticket tables in the lobby of Founders Hall. We’re also selling souvenir Hershey Symphony tote bags for just $5! \nPlease note that Milton Hershey School is a non-smoking campus.

SUMMARY:Holiday Spectacular
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we bring the holiday spirit to the stage of the Hershey Theatre with our annual Holiday Spectacular on Saturday\, December 2\, 2023\, at 2 and 8 p.m. A local tradition\, this holiday-themed concert will feature both beloved favorites and a few exciting new arrangements\, all under the direction of Maestro Gregory Woodbridge. The symphony’s offerings will include favorite classics including music from “The Nutcracker” and “Hansel and Gretel\,” among many other selections. The Lower Dauphin High School choir will join the orchestra on stage to perform “Feast of Carols” by Randol Alan Bass.\n\n\n\n\n\nConcertgoers are invited to bring new\, unwrapped toys or fresh produce including apples and oranges to donate to Gemma’s Angels\, a local organization that helps families in need.\n\nTickets are available here.
