The Original, Legendary Billy Joel Band Has Reunited!

The Lords of 52nd Street, Billy Joel’s original band, are coming to the Scottish Rite Theatre in Harrisburg as a fundraiser for the Hershey Symphony Orchestra! These are the guys you saw playing at the Philadelphia Spectrum, Madison Square Garden and countless other venues with Billy Joel.  Named by producer Phil Ramone during the making of Billy Joel’s album “The Stranger”, the Lords of 52nd Street are the legendary musicians who recorded Grammy winning albums and toured all over the world with the “Piano Man.”   They helped create some of the most recognizable sounds in music; recording the sax, drum and guitar solos on over one hundred million albums.

The band is led by Richie Cannata on saxophone, Liberty DeVitto on drums, and Russell Javors on rhythm guitar. Their collaboration helped change the face of music. They have worked individually with multi-platinum artists, lending their talents to other great musicians and bands as well.  After 30+ years, the musicians have finally reunited and haven’t missed a step with this mind blowing show packed full of Billy Joel hits.  Critics love them and their concerts have been blowing away fans of all ages. Don’t miss them on Friday, August 18, at The Scottish Rite Theatre in Harrisburg.
